Maggie Herskowitz began her video game writing career in 2017 when she became one of the first two writers hired onto "Monster Prom." The game series became a indie smash-hit, with millions of downloads. The Kickstarter for the second game, Monster Camp, surpassed its $30k Kickstarter goal to raise over $600,000.

Maggie stayed on as a Monster Prom writer for the DLC "Monster Prom: Second Term" (2019) and the sequel "Monster Camp" (2020) before leaving to work for DJ2 Productions on Rival Peak, Rival Speak with Wil Wheaton, and a year and a half on an interactive game-TV hybrid experience for a AAA billion-dollar franchise that then died before release lol WELCOME TO GAME WRITING.

She also contributed additional writing to "Max Gentleman: Sexy Business," a module to the MoonPunk TTRPG, and won "Best Theme" and second-place overall best boardgame at First Play L.A.'s Inaugural Game Jam.

MoonPunk by Wannabe Games is a ttrpg (think "Dungeons and Dragons" if you're unfamiliar), using a Powered by the Apocalypse (PbtA) system, about punks on the moon fighting fascism, a parable about direct action told through awesome space lore.
