Maggie’s show as lyricist/librettist THE ROADS TO LOCH LOMOND is running at The Phoenix Theatre in Arizona, October 2025. The show was selected as the inaugural piece of Stage Door Foundation’s Broadway Workroom series in 2024, starring Sophia Anne Caruso (Beetlejuice) and Erin Davie (Grey Gardens). The show was previously produced at The Broadway Rose Theatre in Oregon.

AS SCIENTIST: Maggie received her Master of Science (honors) in International Animal Welfare, Ethics, and Law from University of Edinburgh’s acclaimed Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. Yes, that’s the punctuation. Maggie is the Small Mammal Adoption Coordinator for New Life Animal Sanctuary, an organization which provides comfort, compassion, and new lives to animal survivors of laboratory testing. She’s a library writer for Faunalytics, an organization which creates action-oriented summaries of scientific articles to make them more accessible to those working for a compassionate world for non-human animals. She’s been a featured guests on podcasts such as “Tracey Hotchner’s Exotic Pets” extolling the virtues of pet rats, “Real Men Eat Plants” for a special activist feature, and “The Wild Life,” discussing her goals as an animal welfare scientist. Has she mentioned her YouTube channel, Mad About Animals Mags ? She’s really into her YouTube channel right now, and thinks you should be, too.

 

AS GAME DEV:  Best-selling award-winning MONSTER PROM with over 500,000+ downloads, its sequels SECOND TERM and MONSTER CAMP. Additional writing for MAX GENTLEMEN.  Writing for a spin-off of a huge triple-A franchise, which may or may not ever see the light of day but it was really cool at the time, I promise. Tabletop RPG MOONPUNK. Currently lead writer on a slice-of-life dating sim set at an architecture college.

 

AS SCREENWRITER: The scripted animated 'reality show' RIVAL PEAK on Facebook through DJ2 Entertainment, and its live-action counterpart RIVAL SPEAK hosted by Wil Wheaton. Feature screenplay THE UN-EFF-ABLE SAM BISTRITZKY winner of multiple festivals awards. Songs for the short films MURRAY GHOST, SMILE, and QUEEN OF SPACE.

 

AS ACTRESS: Maggie has 5/8ths of a Musical Theater BFA from The Boston Conservatory of Music where she studied as a performer, before moving to NYC to do random things. Originated the lead in many NYC theater productions, including Wendy in THE CAPTURE OF WENDY DARLING (Off-Broadway at Times Scare), 'Mouse' in HOW LION AND MOUSE BECAME FRIENDS (HarlemArts), 'Cheryl' in UNDER HER HAT (Ta-Da! Theatre), and 'Lizzy' in FITZWILLIAM LOVES LIZZY (Manhattan Repertory Theater). Featured in several episodes of MYSTERIES AT THE MUSEUM on the Travel Channel, and as the leading lady in an improv murder mystery troupe touring the tri-state area. She shot a Christmas commercial recently, and made a vlog about it on her YouTube channel, Mad About Animals Mags, which you may have heard of.
